I’m Demi Tayla, a 22 year old living in the mother city. I’m a city-loving, coffee enthusiast, that loves any adventure both near and far.
To begin, I studied a 3 year Diploma at Fedisa Fashion School in Cape Town. Throughout my time studying, I found my love for Fashion Buying and Digital Marketing. I had the privilege of working with many successful brands such as Cape Union Mart, Truworths, Markham’s and Poetry. During my studies I was exposed to many fields within the fashion industry, which has allowed me to become a versatile individual. From Fashion Journalism, PR, Retail Management, Styling, Fashion Buying and Sourcing, CAD and Trend Forecasting, one can say that I am well equipped to take on the real world.
I am a skilled, diligent and versatile individual that strives to constant grow professionally. I am focused, dedicated and extremely driven when managing workloads. I prioritise tasks to meet deadlines, work well under pressure, and have a keen eye for detail. I have a solid educational background with a passion for all things associated with the fashion industry.
Currently I am seeking a position and/or internship which will utilise my skills and knowledge in Fashion Merchandising, Marketing, and Media and ultimately begin my fashion career.
